question on 1.1.1

hey there i bought my new iphone and it had the new firmware and base band of the 1.1.1 but i was able to hack it successfully so now i'm running firmware 1.0.2 with the new base band....i was wondering if anyone has figured out to have the new 1.1.1 firmware and the new baseband and still have the phone fully functional unlocked.....if there is can someone direct me to the source.....thanks!

iphone sim free seems to be the only thing to survive the new baseband i think

ya tahts what i used i used the iphonesimfree.com and it worked like a charm props to them! but i want to know if i can keep the 1.1.1 cuz they tell u to downgrade but nothing about putting it back to 1.1.1

if you used ipsf, and are running 1.0.2, you can upgrade, just follow the guide to upgrade with the symlink, i am running 1.1.1, used ipsf when it was first released, everything works great. If your using a non-at&t sim, activate using the "online" instructions here: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/ind...Activate_1.1.1

Thx!! But what is symlink? Where can I get it and how to use it..... Is it worth upping to 1.1.1? Any difference with like apps reception? Wifi? Stuff like that?
