Yellow Triangle won't appear!

Hi,

I found the link to upgrade 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 but my problem is still not able to get the yellow triangle to appear after pressing the home and power button together for 25+ seconds. I'm trying to unlock this phone and it's a brand new out of the box iphone too. Can anyone help out here? Thanks.

plug your iphone. it might have low battery let me charge for couple hours and try it again

I charged it last night. Tried again this morning and the yellow triangle still wouldn't appear.

Do you think holding down just the home button and let iTune detect the phone would work?

yea hold sleep and home button while your itunes is open make sure your phone is plug property as well

No holding the home button and letting iTunes detect it didn't work either.

sleep and home button at the same time until u see the yellow triangle

I did. I pressed both the home and power/sleep button together at the same time for a minute and still the yellow triangle doesn't appear.

I got it! For some reason I guess with 1.0.0 or maybe even with 1.0.1 to get the yellow triangle to come out, you have to connect the iphone to your computer then press the home and power/restore button and the yellow triangel will come out! haha..
