just an fyi... i did this in "airplane mode" so none of my annoying friends calling me could ruin it... and when it reboots, the text like "you must disable airplane mode to dial calls" etc etc gets totally F***ed ... it is going in a vertical line straight down the middle of my screen...

I wouldn't recommend it, but I didn't put my phone in airplane mode when I skinned mine. And of course I got a phone call. I had it connected directly by cable and not through the dock. So I was able to take the call and leave the phone connected to the computer. I finished everything and it all worked fine.

Hey I am trying to go through the "Windows iPhone modding 101" and am down to the point where you hold the power and home buttons for 25s. I was wondering after "Booting iPhone..." is displayed in the command prompt how long should it take to finish? I think something is going wrong because for me it displays booting iPhone... and then thats it, nothing else happens

any and all help would be apreciated!

more than likely you did not hold down power + home long enough
