iPhone 4, T-Mobile, 3G frequencys
hey guys. I'm an Aussie traveling through the US, and I've gone with T-Mo, and I've been getting edge everywhere, then I remembered that most of T-Mobile's 3G freq. were incompatible with the iPhone 4..so I'm thinking of buying a new phone. the point of my post being, someone who knows their stuff, could you please confirm this to me? and if its true, why on earth didn't the T-Mo lady tell me?!
thanks. I'd love to see some replies down here

I will give you a suggestion. Better you can buy a new phone, unlock it and use it with a local US sim. By doing so you can avoid high international roaming charges and also enjoy US 3G benefits at local cost.
Any way, I don't think you can unlock your new phone through your network provider as it would be under contract. So you can unlock it through any private unlocking service. For example you can get unlock code for your mobile from Superunlockcodes.com this site provides unlock code for over thousands of mobile models and supported international networks.
