where do you want to save your massage history? it's already on every device (mac, iphone, ipad, ipod) that is connected to your account. You will be able to access the history if you connect the new device to the same account because they are in the "iCloud". or do you want to save the massages as some note?

Hi, both IconTool and PKGBackup can save SMS chat history, Call history, Contacts, App data and Notes to a local folder on your iPhone. If you install IconTool, it will turn off Spotlight Search, just turn it back on in the IconTool settings.
PKGBackup can also upload directly to Dropbox and backup your Cydia tweaks, settings and screen layout. However IconTool is easier to use.

Thank you for the replies! They are a little late but I'll remember this in case I need to save SMS messages later.

Tamar, yes I meant save it into a text document.
