iphone 4 always has the charging battery showing

hello,

i dropped water on my phone, i shaked it wipped it and it was working figured it was ok... after a few hours all i see is the battery on the screen, the phone stays hot and it seems to come from a water detector thing, i not too sure what it is...

anyone have an idea on hot to get it back online? i tried heating it with the hair drier, no better..

there isnt any vapor or water in it... im thinking maybe something got oxidized and is shorting the battery.

Doesn't look to good. I dropped my i4 in coffee and the charging port thinks its connected to a stereo at all times. So basically I can't play any audio through the speakers because it thinks theres a music dock already connected.

Hi, you could try spraying you dock connector with WD40 and gently cleaning with a small brush. Once it's soaked in for a bit, use some electrical cleaner and "wash"/ spray the connector clean of WD40. Once the electrical cleaner has evaporated, then warm/dry the dock off with a hair dryer set on low heat.
