Ok so I know there's a capability on the iPhone known as "personal hotspot" which basically makes your iPhone a wifi spot using 3G. So it costs an additional $20.

    Default Wifi tethering/personal hotspot
Ok so I know there's a capability on the iPhone known as "personal hotspot" which basically makes your iPhone a wifi spot using 3G. So it costs an additional $20. I was wondering if mywi or other similar tweaks still work so I don't have to pay the additional fee for the feature.

Does iOS 4.3.3 include personal hotspot ??

Never mind, a 3G max iOS is 4.2.1. Use MyWi or PDANet

same here, you can even get the MyWi app free instead of paying $20 for it, but only is worth it basically if you still have the unlimited data plan

I recommend TetherMe over Mywi as an absolute choice. It unlocks the native personal hotspot feature. People tend to get caught with Mywi more often because it does less to cloak that you're using it without paying for it.
