    Default Tethering Macbook to iphone
Hi there, can anyone tell me please, Is it possible to tether your Mac book to an iphone, rather than the normal tethering method of using your iphones internet connection for your macbook.

This time I want to use my Macbooks internet connection (via a Tstick or Vodem as we call them here in NZ i.e. USB stick) for my iphone. We are travelling deep into Papua New Guinea where believe it or not, there will be an internet signal so Im told.

I know it may seem pointless haveing my macbook connected to the internet and my iphone all on the same server but It may be usefull. It would be nice to use Personal Hotspot in reverse if you know what I mean.

    Look forward to your reponse,

    Snige.

The only way it would work is if the USB sent out it's signal via wifi. You would hve to look for a ma pogram that does this as the iPhone can only connect using wifi.

Can I not go 'Create local network' on my Mac ?

This is the answer to my own question.
