iPhone speaker problem?

I've had this problem for a while and its now starting to make me mad.
I cannot hear out the top speaker when i make a call. Even when I put it on speaker phone that doesn't help.
But I can listen to voicemails and play music out the bottom speakers, every sound works fine, except for when I try to make calls or someone calls me.
Can anyone tell me what my problem is?

Maybe the problems lies in the earphone flex cable ribbon.
