dent on my iphone 2g and its holding the power button
ok so i dropped my iphone. i thought it was gonna b ok bcuz ive dropped it before but when i got home i tried to turn it on and i noticed that the power button was stuck inside.. so basicly i dropped my iphone and it has a dent thats holding the power button down.. and now i cant do anything with it. all it does is turn off and over by itself. could i fix it?

you should be able to take the back off of the iphone and take a look at the metallic casing.... if you search "disassembling 2g iphone" you should be able to find a quick and easy way to pop off the back casing... I havent done it personally. but have seen a disassembly and looks fairly NOOB friendly....
8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)

Same thing happend to me luckly apple store replaced it
I took it apart to try to fixit and got it not to turn on and off but 3 days later it died completely

well im gonna try to take off the casing and repair it.. i hope it doesnt mess anything up
