Iphone Drama at 11:00pm??
I was messing around with my SMS settings via the widgets and clicked on (more) I started playing with the spook apps feature in the sbs setting and thought it would be cool to remove all apps except the phone mail safari and ipod then all of a sudden "enumerating applications came up circle started spinning then the screen went blank. The apple came up and the little circle started to spin and stopped and then it flashed and stuck and repeat. I did the restore function and now Itunes tells me my phone is in a restore mode. It would need to download the firmware and restore the phone. I need my phone for work tomorrow. How do i get it out of this restore mode and upgrade to 2.2 and unlock the phone for my tmobile sim? Thanks for any and all help!!!
The same phone is in the FS section. I just don't know how to get it out of recovery mode.Last edited by mikerlx; 03-09-2009 at 09:35 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

You don't. For one reason or another, your "playing" with the phone caused some of the settings to fook up apparently. Probably corrupted some files. Whatever those files were, were apparently important enough to render your phone useless until you restore.
So I hope you made a backup of your phone and contacts, cuz otherwise, its gonna be one clean restored phone all new and empty again.

Turn it off and turn it on again? Same thing happened to me a while back and I did that and it worked... Not sure if you've tried it yet or not.
