PDAnet works great for me and does get much easier to setup. (is free too) What is the benifit of using direct USB? I can still plug in a USB cable if needed to keep it charged up.

Same question. Is the connection significantly faster through USB? It would make sense if it does make it faster, but enough to be worth it? PDAnet is easy and probably the most useful app Ive ever used!

Why USB? Just in case you don't have wireless connection with desktop/laptop PC. No wireless adapter in it or it's impossible to use in ad-hoc mode which essential for PdaNet.

my pdanet connection as with the other wireless tether solutions kick me off after about 3 mins. Still haven't found a fix. So I hope this USB solution comes through.
