You've went through 2 iPhones already? I've jailbroken my own phone at least 4 times and my friends twice. I haven't had any problems. Or are you doing hardware mods?

No hardware just strictly software, this one act up on me with no wifi N/A and the time are not acurate for some reason the phone is not stable. I got the with 2.0 so I update to 201 and to 202 and now 2.1 and still no wifi. Kind a strange.

Yes I did! How do you completely wipe out the phone kind a like window format like a fresh copy, for some reason restore on itune really not re-format. my iphone kind a funky just not running smoothly and i would like to wipe-out completely like the original factory setting a clean slate,"Baseband" my wifi still greyed and showing N/A. I got the phone from 2.0 and now to 2.1 and still no wifi kind a sucks, Any cure for it !

BTW my other phones I think the problem with the bootloader the phone can't boot, even a new and a fully charge battery, still nothing on the screen.Last edited by TT KH; 10-06-2008 at 05:36 PM.

Oh well I don't know how to manage that. I'll google around for you and see if I can find something.

If you want a fresh install try using the "Wipe All Data" option when creating a custom firmware.
Also have you downloaded "BossPrefs" and BossTool? these apps can come in handy, using prefs you might be able to toggle WiFi and get it to work. As far as how the phone is running, try using BossTool to fix dir permissions and to free up more space on the partition.
I know these seem obvious, but you have to start with the basics.
