hey guys, I was stuck at the beginning of the terminal part while i entered the command
" ssh -1 root your.iPhone's.ip.address"

the terminal responded
"ssh:root: no address associated with nodename"

could anyone tell me where gone wrong?

Hi, I'm in terminal and put in ssh -1 myiphonesipaddress but instead of what's supposed to come up all I get is:

Protocol major versions differ: 1 vs. 2

can't get any further than this... help please!!!

Why is this file a rar file, when the instructions say to unzip? This file is not zip format. Please check integrity of Virginizer pack for download.

it gets stuck in waiting for data... nothing happens after that.... what can i do? any help?

having trouble starting the first step. when i download the virginize pack i get virginizer_pack_0.4.rar on my desktop. the icon i a plain white piece of paper with the corner folded over. when i click it top open i get a message asking what program i would like to open it in. i tried to download on safari, and also through firefox and got the same issue.

every time i get to the first step in terminal thins **** up. the top of terminal says 'bash' and not 'ssh'. as a result i am not able to connect to the phone. what am i doing wrong? im running leopard. please help!

I keep getting permissions denied when I reach this point

I tried skipping it and forgetting about the back up to take the risk but when I tried the next step which is dumping the iunlock it gives me the same error permission denied?

you get -sh-3.2# because you are using ssh from independence, use ssh from installer and you will be fine

PLease help me, anyone knows why we are getting the message "FW differences found" instead of " FW are equal" after runing the comman ./iUnlock ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls ./eliteloader.bin

Hi, just goinfg thru process to upgrade my unlocked jailbroken 102 to a 111. All going fine until came to bottom of page, it states " Hold down Option and click restore". Being dumb here not sure what that means?? when i press retore it goes away and starts to download 113. So i stop process and am now stuck not sure what to do. Any assistance much appreciated. This is very urgent. Thanks
