This is currently what happened to me. How exactly do I fix this. The last line that loaded says "Waiting for data..." and the rest never loaded... How do I do the ^C thing?

I have a real AT&T account/activation.

If I just want to virginize my 1.0.2 and upgrade to 1.1.1 and stay locked do I still have to go through all 4 of these guides or can I just fix my baseband then upgrade to 1.1.1 in itunes?

Does one begin the "Virginize" Process with the ATT Sim installed that came with the iPhone or the current working T-mobile one?

First, thank you VERY MUCH for this and all the other iPhone / iTouch business you've released into the wild.

So, I'm following this toot and I get to backing up the seczone and I have an issue. When I enter

'launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist'


I get an message saying:

'nothing found to unload'


At a loss for what to do. Up to this point all went perfectly. Gladly welcome advice.

Sure enough, went to the dir and no file with the name 'com.apple.CommCenter.plist'

...went back and retraced my steps...

1. i can ssh in w/o issue.

2. enter password, no problem.

3. go to type in command 'launchctl...' as per toot BUT when i type 'lau' it closes the connection and will not allow me to finish typing the argument. consistently it will not allow me to type more than three characters. i've disconnected and started over but to no avail.

anyone able to lend a brother a hand?

after i enter my password the prompt reads '-sh-3.2#' rather than a simple '#'

First of all, i just would like to say what an amazing site this is. Without it I probably wouldn't have got the guts to buy the iPhone.

My iPhone is currently unlocked using the Unlock.app by Erica Sadun. Now, I want to update to 1.1.1.

I was the same problem that Mac_Z mentioned:

But I just wasn't sure what to do after I typed "^C". So I quit Terminal and started all over again.

Now I'm kinda' stuck at the at the same situation as mobilexile;
I can't seem to get the command "launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist" to work. I'm getting this message "# No such process".

What should I do?

BTW I'm using Cyberduck, I have OpenSSH installed through Installer.app and I'm running Services.app.

I found Rebooting the iPhone got rid of the No Such Process error. I, however, am still getting hung in the norz dump step. Any suggestions?

Im having the same problem with it getting hung in the dump step, have restarted the process, the phone, not sure what else to do...

Ok, it worked for me. I think you should try it again. But I can't seem to find the seczone.backup file.

Edit: Found it. Just need it to refresh a couple of times.
