My springboard on my 3g ipone keeps crashing when ever the iphone performs multitasking or when is going to change screens, like from email (hitting a web link) to safari. I have already installed the syslog thing but is not a big help. It has already crashed over 56 time in less than 3 weaks. Heeellllpppp please!!!!!

My wifi connection goes on and off. I have to constantly add the password of which I am confused at times. The Iphone device doesn't even show the strength signals on top showing that it is in wifi mode. How do I reset it to get it to work properly or retrieve my correct password? Thank you

Ur pretty much screwed.

If u have an unlock make sure tht u have ur shsh saved for the unlockable firmware. If not use something like shsh extractor. RESTORE TO THAT FIRWARE DO NOT GO PAST YOUR BASEBAND WILL BE UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you dont do any kind of unlocking, just upgrade to 4.2.1 and rejailbreak.

Just do a restore.... and re jailbreak! It fixes 99% of problems and it's the easiest resolution! The biggest pain is setting your phone up just the way you like it!!!

As above if you require unlock then basement preservation is key, can be done in 2 ways...

1. restore current FW
2. create custom FW with Snow Breeze

just use current. much easier.
If ur on a mac, u can use pwnagetool to use a custom firmware to jailbreak 4.2.1 unthethered and to preserve baseband.
