Shame this doesn't work in the UK. Does anyone know of something like this for UK?

I don't think there are any charges involved. It gets paid for by the adverts on the page, and possibly a short sentence inside the txt you send.

they would have to inform you (small print) if anyone would get charged, some services do charge.

even if you didn't like the person that txted you? surely this gets abused, people txting you just to cost you money!

seems unfair, when some ppl txt like crazy, and you get charged for that! its like being charged to receive your post... before you see what it is!
