Safari accessing internet connection in a school or company>

Hey guys, newbie here, so not sure where this thread will go. I'm going to a school that allows internet connection through their school wireless internet. I am able to get a connection, but normally, there should be a screen on the browser that shows spaces for me to put in my log-in data (user and pass). I have used nokia before, and their browser shows a redirected screen to the login page...but the safari doesn't...anyone know any info on this?
