you dont need to make an app for this, just add the site to your homescreen and there will be no buttons or address bar. For example try adding this site to your homescreen and launch it from there: User Guide. Not sure what code you need to add to your site but im sure you can find it online.

EDIT: found it, all you need to do is add this code to your site and it will launch in full screen:

I dont think thats the objective he has in mind.

He wants to make his iphone portal an app he can distribute on cydia and such. His "app" will be a linking to the portal. At least from my understanding this is what he meant.



Although, to OP; if I were you man, I wouldnt worry about the app part right now. Not to mention since your app is pretty much just a internet link anyways. What I suggest is you start developing your website and give people the address for them to use. If its a hit website and people actually start using it alot, they can simply share the URL or at that point you can make your app your intended (perhaps with a little more then just straight linking to the web so its really considered an "app" not a link).

Actually I believe you can distribute webapps on cydia. You can install webapp shortcuts to the home screen and they can look and behave a lot like native apps.

I hate to ruin someone's $5, but this is built in on iphones. Just go to your site, and tap add to home screen

I can give you the xcode project, 5$ should be fine.
But then you have to sign up with Apple Developers Program (99$/year), download xcode, build the app, send to Apple (crossing your finger to get the app approved [and it will never be approved because of the very poor contents amount])

So if you want to throw away 5$ for a working app sourcecode that you will never use, I'm here to help you.
