Hi guys, I want to introduce iManga, an optimized version of OneManga for iPhone/iPod Touch.

I know there a lot of this kind of app in AppStore but when I was learning iWebKit Framework, I thought why not I built something that I would actually use and not to hard to develop. So that's how iManga was born..

This app took me 2 weeks to built, mainly because I did it in my spare time. In the backend, iManga runs on CakePHP and iWebKit for the UI.

Lastly, this app will remains free, but donations are always appreciated. Any donations received will be contribute back to iWebKit, CakePHP and OneManga.

Thanks for the support! i'll be working on that after I finished adding & polishing few new features on iManga.

I am curious if the admins have a specific policy on scraping this site.

I agree with Finix that it is a little curious that GO Manga! charges. That doesn't bother so much as the fact that they have ads, but I am not sure if they are the ads provided by OM. If they are not that is pretty dang shady if you ask me and somebody should contact them.

In some ways I am bothered by Manga Portal as well. Sure it is free and an excellent viewer, but they scrape OneManga for all the images and data without even crediting OneManga as the source. If you ask me that is almost worse than charging for the app!

I am all for an ipod app that works as well as Manga Portal or GO Manga, but i don't like the way they are going about it. Maybe there should be an official OM app. Or better yet an app put out by an actual manga publisher (maybe with IPhone OS 3.0?)

Till then I will be sticking to viewing in Safari.
