Someone Needs to Port Adobe Flash to iPhone

Can someone please port Adobe Flash to the iPhone? If the iPhone 3G is too slow to process Flash, then I'm sure the iPhone 3G S isn't too slow. So if this is only possible on 3G S, then when it's released, someone needs to start working on porting Adobe Flash. Maybe there should be an iPhone Flash Dev Team to port the latest version of Flash to the iPhone whenever a new one is released.

I still don't understand the whole flash fetish people have. What is so great about it? The iPhone will get it eventually, but I would imagine it will have to wait until a super battery is invented. Imagine running flash on the crap battery we have now...

I think most of the Flash fetish people are those of us that can't use certain websites because of some stupid Flash intro or Flash navi on the site. I dunno why they still use it, Flash is so 8 years ago.

it is not as easy you think to "Port" Flash. Adobe has PUBLICLY stated that they have flash up and ready for the iPhone. Apple doesn't want it right now due to performance issues especially battery. There were talks of a "Baby Flash" coming out but that rumor died out fast. Adobe REALLY wants to get this thing on the iphone badly. I can live without flash. Cant you?

I can for sure. Also you will need double the RAM and a better processor for it to work. And an upgraded battery. This concept will come out prob next year. 3GS will be old news. DDD

With my website all my music video remixes are posted as flv's. It'd make mobile viewing possible.

I am holding out for next years phone myself. I am anticipating the OLED screen. That alone will be a huge battery saver.

Just instruct people to download iMobileCinema on their phones from Cydia (install the source first, of course).

Let's not forget that us iPhone owners have not exactly got into an innovative device. How long did it take Apple for copy/paste? What about multi-tasking? Bluetooth limitations?

Dream on. I purchased the 1st generation iPod Touch a couple of days after it's release, and I've been waiting for it since then. If it was going to be ported, it would've already. Just wait for another generation to go by so the hardware will be powerful enough.
