Default start native app from web app

    Hi,

Can someone tell me if it is possible to start up a native app from a web app?

For example start up (or link to) the clock app from my xhtml iphone site?

I would not think this is possible..
It would mean that the clock app would have to run on your web server and I do not think that will happen.

The only native apps you can open from a webpage are AppStore, iTunes, Youtube, Phone, Text, Maps, and Mail.

A load of rubbish, you can create a link to any app using this style of link.

    clock://

that will simly open clock, normally you could put things after to do various things for example create a direct link to my package on cydia

    cydia://package/com.modmyi.cainestheme

My apologys I see now that this doesn vwork with native apps, only installad ones from AppStore/cydia. And even of it were to work it wouldn't be clock:// it would be MobileTimer://

My apologys this doesn't work with native apps only ones installed after recieving your device
