Hi guys
i downloaded from app store the new skype,to try it out.
the problem is whenever i try and open the app it immediately crashes.
i can see the skype logo and it seems like the app is loading,but after 10-15 seconds it disappears from the screen.
does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Most issues with Skype crashing can be fixed by updating MobileSubstrate 0.9.2805-1 or newer in Cydia.

MobileSubstrate acts as a safe mode in the event that an app that modifies function or code in the springboard crashes the springboard.

When I first installed Skype, Skype crashed after 20-30 seconds after launching. After updating the MobileSubstrate in Cydia, Skype no longer crashes in my case.

If Skype continues to crash in the same manner, post to this forum what other MobileSubstrate plug-ins you have installed. For example, Categories, Quickgold, Stack, Backgrounder, Five Icon Dock, Reflective Dock, iRealSMS & Notifier, Winterboard, MCleaner, etc.

It may give clues to what plug-ins may be conflicting with Skype.
