Theoretically any device should have wireless access through your iPhone with MyWi.. I should try this with my xbox and ps3... Not sure how well they will be due to the latency.

The problem with iphone modem ... is that it needs a software to configure... they named the desktop helper or something like that... i cant install thing windows software to ps3.

He probably means iPhone internet to PS3, then MyWi would be a great idea.

MyWi requires no software on the client side. It works just like your phone is a wireless router. I just confirmed it works great ok my ps3 and my xbox.

I've tried to use mywi and the ps3 can't see it. The only way I've got this to work is with a laptop pdanet and an Ethernet cord

Yeah, me too.. So if someone could write a tutorial of how to connect the ps3 to mywi on iPhone 3gs it would be nice. Otherwise I got a Win7 notebook, and can also use that.. But I don't have any cable.

Because clearly people google "iPhone ps3 wifi" and this "year old" thread is the top hit. Plus mywi doesn't work with the ps3 for some people, but it does for others. The question still needs answering. Can we or can we not get ps3 to hook up to an iPhone 4, tethered or not, and receive interwebs?
