Google web app... what web app?

I have found several articles on the web talking about the google web app, which is a google optimised using AJAX for the iPhone.

I am running an O2UK jailbroken 1.1.3 phone and when I go to google.com in safari it just shows me the 'standard' google, not the one I have seen in the pictures which has a menu bar at the top with 'gmail' 'google reader' etc... at the top of the screen....

Anyone know how I can access the 'google web app'?

Depends on your web service linked to your iPhone. For example, I had the 19.99 Blackberry plan (using wap.voicestream.com), and I noticed I got redirected to the mobile version of google, among other sites, when I visted them. I switched my plan to the total internet acess plan and I started going directly to googles main site. It depends on the proxies or the web server that you are using. Just fyi.

Also, wap.voicestream.com seemed to be faster than internet2.voicestream.com, which lags and often goes out. Also, navzion (spelling) seems to mess with EDGE, sometimes requiring a reboot of iPhone.

I like to us www.google.com/ig IGOOGLE is great and gives me all my info on one screen

Works Great! Im also supprised that Google doesn't automatically navigate there.
