In my exeprience MobileChat is the best, I like the clean UI, and the landscape orientation.

Apollo and fring also do the job (fring with the added VoIP goodness! but not as nice as Mobile Chat imho)

I recommend Fring because of it being so stable and the ability to have multiple chat clients bundles onto one buddy list. The voip is a plus too. From my experience with Mobilechat, its alright, but not very stable and the space bar doesnt work well in landscape mode.

fring works great, however, it is not msn messenger specialized. msn messenger's features are not at full potential on fring. like there u cant use emoticons, change ur display name, see display pics, etc.
