    Default Standby screen change
    Hey everyone,
Any body knows what i could use to add infos on the "Standby screen".
"Standby screen", for what i know, is the "home button" triggered screen.
Presently, on this screen, you see a box on top with the time and date and on the bottom you have this unlock sliding button.
Pretty dull for a quick view screen which could have a lot more quick view infos without having to unlock and go into menus.
So, i want to start looking into adding maybe, # of new SMS, # of missed calls, # of voice messages, 2 last e-mails with their titles only.
So, i'm wondering if those would be called widgets or apps and what could i program those with.
If you have infos or know any tutorials on the web , that would be very much welcome.

    Thanks !!!

Has your phone been modified? i.e. Unlocked? Jailbroken? If not it should do the functions that you stated straight from the factory (with the exception of the email).
