Accessing Gmail over HTTP (not HTTPS)

My local carries has a GPRS service that allows me to use onlt the HTTP protocol, not POP, IMAP or HTTPS. Now I want to use my Gmail account on my iPhone, the mobile version m.gmail.com uses HTTPS.
The only solution so far is to use mail2web.com/pda to retrieve my email, but I want a more direct method, as well as the ability to send mails, is that possible?
