Safari Download Plugin Missing Files

I've installed the safari download plugin and it works perfectly untill I use finder or ssh to look into the var/root/downloads folder where the only thing I find on one file "getattachment.aspx". None of the several files I've downloaded are there. The questios is where are they and why are they not showing up where they should. Hope Someone can give me a hint on this one. Thanks
