iPhone 4 wallpaper

Here are some wallpapers i made for the iPhone 4, their are actually 4 of each, diffrent sizes but these are the 640x960. all are images i got online. I take no credit for the actual picture.One is a shot from phone, actual pic would not upload.All were made from HD resolution images

How to get wallpapers to show up in wallpaper section of iphone 4.

First there are 4 images to be made 640x960...320x480....150x150...75x75.
example xxx will be the number you give them. apple has 100-126 already so number them whatever you want before 100 or after 126 if not the defaults will be over written.

xxx.png ----320x480
[email protected] ----150x150
xxx.thumbnail.png ----- 75x75




once the images are made just winscp into your iphone go to stash/Wallpaper/iphone and just drag and drop your 4 images into that folder and that's it. they are now available to be chosen from the default wallpaper location. all my wallpapers have all 4 images already made.

sounds like a pain in the *** to create 3 other images for each image. Is there a converte app that will take care of this in a batch?

not that I've seen, but you don't have to do that. easier for most people to just sync the photos they want with i tunes and choose from library or photo album or whatever it's called. i just prefer to have them in their proper place and leave my photo albums. clean. then you could also create a album called wallpapers, i guess. takes me about 1-2 minutes to resize all my images in photoshop

Thanks for this post and quick "how to." I also prefer my phone to be clean and not cluttered full of images in my photo album. If you find any more HD pics like these, let me know.
