Is this possible? I'd like to be able to see the background image, but still have access to the 4 icons at the bottom. If I need anything else, I'd like to be able to swipe over to the 2nd page.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a screenshot of it done.

You will need to use "blank" apps in place of any icon you wanna replace to do this.

They can be installed through Cydia. Look on the main page of Cydia and under more repo sources add the steffwiz source for blank apps.

You only need to install one blank app to hold the first page as blank.

Thanks guys. I'm new to all this iPhone customizing stuff...

One more question, along the same lines.

Is it possible to have a different wallpaper for the 2nd page of apps? Ideally I'd love to have a photo on the first page, with a blank app holding its place, and the second page be something easier to see icons on.

yes you can make them transparent or make the icon into just text ...thats another good way also to do it.

like how i have mines....
