Can't get any wallpaper!!

Hiya, I have an pwned iPhone on 2.0 and cannot figure out how to get wallpaper on!!! whenever i change or add the wallpaper, my main screen stays black and only my lock page changes, is it not possible to get any wallpaper on this firmware? I'm a newbie so please refrain on too much lingo...thanks alot in advance.

Install winterboard through cydia, this will let you replace the black background.
