Can anyone please help me !!

I bought a 64gb Sprint iPhone 4s from ebay in the USA , I took it to the UK where I tried a sim card but it wouldn't work, anyway I have recently spoke to customer service at Sprint who tell that $900 is owed for an unpaid bill and that it can't activated until the bill is paid, Is there any way I can get the phone to work in the UK, I'm not bothered about using in the US. I checked the IMEI MED on checkesnfree and it came back clean ? do these esn checkers really work ?

Yeah but for the iPhone 4S you have it doesn't seem to work for it. Sprint is the main source.

Online ESN checking is not always accurate. Calling Sprint and asking them if it has a clean ESN is the only 100% sure way to tell.

If the phone is on 5.1.1 firmware you can still get it to work normally with a gevey sim. If it is on 6.0/6.0.1 I believe a R-Sim5+ will work for phone and text messages but data will not work with it (at least until a 6.X jailbreak is released).

I can't believe it, I only updated the firmware to 6 last week , DAMN any idea when a jailbreak is likely to be released

Simon do you think the Gevey R-Sim5+ will work once I have the jailbreak, I'm just wondering if I should buy one now or do they have to reprogrammed for the new update

Don't know. Their current one will probably work on 6.0.1 with the jailbreak once there is a package for it. No idea if any Gevey or rsim will work on 6.1. Too early to tell.
