Broken iPhone 4
So I recently bought an iPhone 4 for my sister. Only thing is I never activated on our Verizon account because I didn't want to pay $30 Data Plan.
But she accidentally dropped her phone and It got ran over. The phone is completely shattered will the Apple Store replace at $199 even thou It was never active on our account?

Never know until you try. I don't see a reason why they would not, considering you still purchased the iPhone itself. But...don't take my word for it.

It's not unheard of. Some people ask for the other color and some reps give it. Doesn't always work though, but it may.

If the phone is in one physical piece (e.g., it's just cracked but not physically in separate chunks), it should still be eligible for an out-of-warranty repair.
Officially, Apple keeps very close track of the parts that are distributed through repairs, and the models handed out must match what they receive exactly. However, some Geniuses will allow you to change colors if you ask very nicely (and their managers don't care).
