Alright so right now I'm on Verizon with an old EnV. I wanna get the iPhone but I know i'm definitely not going to get unlimited data , because it's just too much $ for my parents.
SO, since you MUST buy a data pack, what's the cheapest one? I'm thinking of just buying the cheapest data pack, and unlimited texting which I have now (which is how much ?) and then just use the wifi in my house for internet and everything, I don't need to use it when I'm out.

Good idea ?

Also if you have an upgrade, how much will the iPhone cost then?

The data plans are currently not known for the iPhone on VZW. you probably won't know till it comes out.

As of today the only data plan you can get for the Verizon iPhone is $30/mth. Unlimited. If you want a cheaper plan you must us ATT tiered data plans. The cheapest is &15/mth. I believe. But, I don't think that plan is enough data even for the smallest of data users. Maybe if you only use it for email and only check your mail once a day it may work for you but otherwise grab Verizon's unlimited data plan while you still can.
