Text messages aren't sent via data. You can text without a data package. So technically you making a call and sending a text while on the call doesn't apply to this discussion. Data doesn't work in calls period on ViPhone.

You're in a thread discussion simultaneous voice and data, you point out that you text in-call all the time.

It's basis for someone to assume you're talking about the topic at hand, assuming that you believe texting uses data. So it was assumed you were saying voice and data is possible bc you can send texts in-call. That's all.

Does an iPhone with a bad esn (Verizon iPhone 4s) still get service? Like, do signal bars still show up? bad esn=blacklisted/blocked, so I'd assume that it shouldn't get service/signal bars...
