So is it true??? The SAM method doesn't work anymore???!!!

Supposedly, Apple has patched it. You can try it, it may just work, but at this point the chances of it working are very little.I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

So since apple has patched the SAM method, does this also mean that all the other unlocking procedures will also fail? i.e. R-Sim IV, cause you also need itunes to activate on this method too...!!!

"Could someone in the States add my iPhone to their account have it unlocked for overseas use. Then in a few days remove it from their account? Just say they broke it or what ever. I've read that many long term customers had their phone unlock the day they get them."

Apple N Berry | GEVEY this should work for your 4S as long as you preserve your baseband for the future (meaning use a custom firmware that doesn't upgrade your modem firmware/baseband when you update or restore to something like iOS 6).
