    Angry here we go
    1.0.2 and lockdown is done. I followed the procedure as on this site. exactly, word after word.
    Where could be the mistake?

    By the way, this site is excellent! Great job webmaster.

    I thought I was "word for word" too. Then realized I'd missed the very first step - quitting iTunes help. Made all the difference.

    If you get this message, you need to deactivate the phone, and reactivate it with the new SIM in place.

    please explain deactivate. do you mean switch off?
