Hey quick question I already have the iphone unlock. But I want to restore the software on the phone, not back to default but back to the fresh unlock verison. I might sell my iphone and I have a bunch of games and apps on there and I dont want to sell it like that. So I want to keep it unlock but erase any 3rd party software on it

hold option when you hit restore on itunes and pick the 1.0.2 file?

Hold alt on mac shift on windows then restore, pick your file and go.

This does not work.
I unfortunately rolled into 1.1.1 before I knew about the lock out and it screwed me.
I try to select the roll back option but it does not let me. It errors out.
The new programming will not allow you to select an older file.

I did shift. I did select the older file.
When it starts to load the file, Itunes gives me a message saying.
Unknown error and turns off the connection to the phone. You have to restart the phone or Itunes to reconnect the phone to Itunes then.
It would not let me load the 1.02 software. Itunes also notes in the restore that it will only load the latest version of the software so there may be an issue with Itunes locking it out.

Yes downgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 manual its OK. But your Iphone will not worki with anysim Sow if you once update to 1.1.1 no you can down it to 1.0.2 but SIM will not work

then your doing something wrong, read up on it
