iPlus works!

bought my 16 gb phone this past wed - was already 1.1.4 with 4.6baseband. ran iplus 2.0b, everything worked within 10 minutes. no issues with maps, wifi, youtube all work fine.

honestly ive read reviews of iplus and ziphone and it is indeed a matter of choice, but for the naysayers of iplus, they are totally wrong...it was easy to use.

Did you have the Edge Menu after you unlocked it??

hmmm...that is something I dont see on the default icons that were on the phone...

Go to Settings}General}Network... There should be an Edge menu there? at bottom

The EDGE menu, I´ve been told, only appears if you are on a NON iPhone carrier.

I have Telering(non iPhone carrier) in my iPhone- there is a EDGE menu.
If I use my T-Mobile sim- no EDGE menu present.

This is because if you are on an official iPhone carrier(which T-Mobile is here in Austria) you dont need to change your EDGE settings because they think you are on one of their data plans.

Thanks AW, i use Vodafone in Australia, but dont have an Edge menu.
