you think AT&T unlock is still up?
11-01-2013, 09:42 PM #265
I know it's still up. The process is slow guys your not going to see instant unlocks. Look at Tmobile or Verizon unlocks most are 14-21 days
11-01-2013, 09:55 PM #266
i believe you.. but at least try to keep us update like were you able to get a unlock confirmation of a 5S or 5C this week?

I had a few not many they are taking a long time. There is only so many able to get actually threw the unlock process a day. So it's a first come first serve thing.
That's why I have constantly said times may vary quite a bit the people that get unlocked in 24 hours are lucky really.
3G-4S seem to go a lot quicker the newer 5-5S models are a lot harder rules are a lot stricter on those.
So like lets say I can get 50 3G-4S unlocked a day and only 5-10 5-5s unlocked today (this is an example not the real numbers)
And everyone wants the newest iPhones unlocked which is normal but it just makes a huge traffic jam after a while.
The headache all of this has caused is crazy. Some people understand others don't.
I am waiting for the day when all this calms down a bit. But I don't see it happening for some future lol

Locking hardware to a specific vendor never should have been part of the Digital Millennium Copyright act but intense lobbying overcame opposition. Now that it is facing strong public outcry, including support from the White House, AT&T tries to save face by releasing this statement.
Joan Marsh, the company’s vice president of federal regulatory affairs, notes that the recent ruling has “very little impact on AT&T customers.” She goes on to explain that the carrier will unlock smartphones “if we have the unlock code or can reasonably get it from the manufacturer,” adding that AT&T will unlock a device for any customer whose account has been active for at least sixty days, is in good standing, has no unpaid balance and is not locked into a two-year service agreement.
Clearly AT&T would like to retain control of the devices and still makes it nearly impossible to actually get an unlock. Now they have intentionally destroyed the secondary unlock market relied on by hundreds of thousands of people to legitimately use their own property on the network of their choice!
Typical AT&T. Say one thing but do the opposite. Maybe that’s why customers are leaving them in droves.
I will certainly NEVER do business with them again or buy anything with their name on it. How many times have they played games with their name now??
