Default Sprint i5 can I unlock it for gsm
I have an i5 on sprint clean esn ios 7 and I would like to use it on straight talk. I been reading about it and I'm still confused. Is there a permanent unlock what's the best sim imposter gpp or r sim 8, would I have to keep unlocking every time I update or restore?

They do have a GPP sim that may work. Not sure if it will on ios7 though. Other than that only Sprint can unlock it.

It should already be unlocked for any GSM SIM, albeit with possibly limited LTE availability...

Not that I am aware of... perhaps the device isn't unlocked after all? I was under the impression that iPads sold in the US off-contract are carrier-unlocked.

Sorry, just did a network re-setting and it worked fine on my T-Mobile SIM. Great
