Hi everyone,I bought a iPhone 5 whilst in Spain and was told it was unlocked to any network...but when I put my SIM card in it says card not supported

    Hi everyone,I bought a iPhone 5 whilst in Spain and was told it was unlocked to any network...but when I put my SIM card in it says card not supported etc, use original SIM card,trouble is I do not know which card I am supposed to use
    Can anyone help me identify which sim I need, the model no is MD297Y/A

    If the phone was activated while you were in Spain, you can download iTools at itools.hk. Run it and click on the three dots button in the lower right panel. Then scroll down a bit, it would tell you which carrier it was activated it with. Also, you can bring it to an Apple store. They will tell you free of charge. Other than that, there are services on eBay that you have to pay.
