Okay so here are my specs:
-32 GB iPhone 3GS (old bootrom)
-Firmware 5.1.1 (9B206)
Now, I mistakenly updated the firmware about 2 years ago to iOS 4 and didn't preserve the baseband or SHSH blobs (so the 6.15.00 baseband was the result of iTunes and not from the iPad baseband method that was pretty popular at the time). My question is, given my current situation is it possible to still unlock the phone? It's currently jailbroken, but there are no guides out there for my particular situation that I've found that don't assume you'd have a 6.15.00 baseband as a result of the iPad firmware method. Any help would gladly be appreciated as I've been looking for an answer to this for years.

just downgrade the baseband using this guide.
iClarified - iPhone - How to Downgrade Your iPhone 3GS, 3G Baseband for Unlock (Windows)
after that, you can use ultrasn0w to get it unlocked. keep it a 5.1.1 if you want. with old bootrom, you can downgrade or upgrade all day without shsh.
