hi to all
i am very new to i phone and this forum
i want to unlock my i phone 4 that i got one of mine friend it is UK Vodafone Carrier ?
i search about jailbreak and unlocking but i am not get the full detail so help me

Easiest way is to pop into a vodafone store and explain you want it unlocking. You will have to buy a sim card from them (just a simple pay as you go Sim) and also buy a £20 topup. Then use the sim, top it up then phone vodafones customer service and choose the option to leave vodafone. They will remove £19.99 from your sim balance and then send the unlock request to apple. Within 48hours it should be factory unlocked.

There is no need to jailbreak your iphone 4 to unlock it from carrier.
