Facetime on T-mobile

Facetime does not work on wifi nor 3g. Anyone know how to make it work?

Did you sign in ur facetime account? under Setting.

it works on wifi by calling an email but on 3G it says I need wifi, it's not jail broken.

Apple put a restriction on using 3G for some features such as Facetime or downloading files larger than 50MB. You need to jailbreak and install 3Gunrestrictor tweak to unlock the restriction. 3Gunrestrictor is a paid tweak, but there may be some free ones on Cydia that you may want to search. Good luck

I knew about this, i was just looking for an alternative way without jailbreak. iOS 6 allows 3g facetime but tmobile doesnt. So i guess, maybe the only way is jailbreak.

I use Facetime on T-Mo without using 3GUnRestricter. But, Facetime does require at least 3G or Wifi

I'd also say, for sure jailbreak, the possibilities are almost limitless in customizing and tweaks.
