Need Help with iPhone Unlock

Hello,
I just bought a iPhone 4S from a guy. Its locked to Rogers Canada. It has gevey with it and I am using it with Vodafone India, its working perfectly.
Can anyone help me with the following?
Details about the phone.
Baseband: 3.0.04
OS: 6.0
Locked to Roger Canada(Using with Gevey)

1. Can it be unlocked using some software method such as Jailbreaking?
2. Or should I keep using Gevey.? As factory unlock is quite costly for Rogers.

Also I want to ask, if I reset my network settings for the phone then, will the gevey sim stop working?
I don't know much about Gevey. Please put some light on this.

It can't be jailbroken. Keep using the Gevey if it is working fine. If factory unlocking is not an option for you, then the Gevey is the only option for you. As for resetting the network settings, sorry I don't know the answer to that. Hopefully someone else can answer that for you.

Can anyone let me know that how can I save my activation tickets. I am running iOS 6.0 and its not jailbroken.
