    Default Unlocked iPhone 3GS not recognizing new SIM card
    Hey all,

    Unlocked AT&T iPhone 3gs that has previously worked on the Straight Talk network so I know it is unlocked and is (was?) operating correctly.

    I have now moved to Honduras and purchased a Tigo SIM card. I insert the SIM card and get an error of "SIM Card Failure" then no connection to the network. The people that sell the SIM card in Honduras are of zero help. They tell me Tigo operates at 850 and the iPhone doesn't accept 850, but online it says 850 works just fine with iPhone 3gs.

    Anyone able to help?

    Let me know your IMEI to see if it's factory unlocked or not.
