Unlocking iPhone 3G

Hi everyone - I have a iPhone 3G running iOS 4.2.1 and BB 5.15.04. Phone has been previously jailbroken with Redsn0w but I would like to unlock the phone as well. I know there is an issue with the baseband but I am not sure if it affects me. My understanding is that I need to install the iPad BB via Redsn0w, then download Ultrasn0w via Cydia to unlock. Is this correct? I've been out of the iPhone jailbreaking game for a while.

Thank you! I read that earlier, and if I followed it correctly, it lead me to a link that describes how to jailbreak via sn0wbreeze. It is unclear if it will allow me to also unlock.

Got it! Didn't use the instructions through the link above, but I wound up installing the iPad baseband through Redsn0w and downloaded Ultrasn0w. Thanks for the help!
