    Default Iphone 4s 6.0.1 Gevey Ultra s Problem.
    I just used the Gevey Ultra S to unlock my Iphone 4s (was with Bell, needed Rogers). I get the screen that pops up saying the unlock was successful, the Rogers carrier appears and I get 4-5 bars of signal, but then after about 5 seconds it drops to 1 bar, then back to searching. It will then repeat this process over and over, never keeping signal for more than 10 seconds. Any ideas?

    Do you have the 6.X version of the Gevey? Sounds like you may have the 5.1.1 version.

    I am really not sure. It was a gift for christmas. The store selling it said it should work no problem.

    Another thing is that the carrier under the settings>general>about section is switching between Bell and Rogers every so often.

    Does it say 6.0 on the package?

    I never got packaging the guy did it at the store when my dad was buying it. I called the guy and told him the problem and he said he is going to replace the gevey, and ill make sure it's the 6.0 one. Ill update when I get the new one. Thanks guys!

    Ok guys, so I replaced the gevey, and now the signal is staying. However, I have a new problem. It says I am connected to 3g with 4+ bars, but I cannot use the internet in anyway over 3G. Safari won't load any web pages, my email wont update, etc. I just noticed that the sim card I bought from Rogers the other day says LTE on it, is that ok with a 3g phone/plan? Any other ideas?

    I have tried restoring it phone and resting network settings.

    You probably just need to put your apn in for Rogers. Do you know the settings for that?

    Try going to unlockit.co.nz on your phone (using wifi) and install a custom profile apn for Rogers. Looks like there are 3 different ones for Rogers, try them one at a time to see which works for you.
